History

Established in 1992, GAS-PRESS service began as GAS-PRESS Jan Koudelka, a company providing plastic, black steel and especially stainless steel piping systems. As the company’s client porfolio expanded and the need for technical complexity increased, GAS-PRESS service was established to integrate a wider range of services.
 

Our services

All our tools and equipment are kept at our headquarters in Veltruby, close to Kolin. There, we can prefabricate piping and pre-assemble structural steel sections. We are also immediately capable of welding using various methods (electrode – MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, gas welding).

We are therefore able to provide both new and existing customers with great service in everything from expert engineering to power connections. Furthermore, we can also design, engineer (calculate stress & load) and fabricate steel structures for various purposes, such as walking platforms, utility bridges and supports.

We submit design and as-built documentation of these structures for approval.

GAS-PRESS also takes active part in the renovation and upgrade of power plants, heating stations and other utility boilers. We are certified for welding boiler pressure pipes, their systems and other stainless steel elements used in piping. Furthermore, we install pre-insulated piping systems for distribution of steam and hot water, including control and signalling cables. We also provide internationally recognized WPSs (Welding Procedure Specification) and WPQRs (Welding Procedure Qualification Record).

We work in various countries

Our services are not only limited to the Czech Republic. We have extensive experience working in other European Union countries, as well as Saudi Arabia, India and the USA. We have worked with customers in different industries (e.g. power generation, canning, waste management and manufacturing) using both customer-supplied materials (e.g. for orders in Belgium, France and the UK) and our own materials (e.g. for orders in Germany, Bosnia, Hungary and Slovakia).
